12. Are you in central FL?
That would be awesome to see at night. I'm worried about the weather too...that they might have to scrub.

21. Not the actual launch.
But we would be able to see it in the sky. CNN said it would look like a shooting star.

22. I love to see it
but I have only seen it when it passed over south Florida hooked up to the space station. It was still cool though. You could not pay me enough to get in a space shuttle, but I sure am fascinated by it.

23. It is fascinating.
I remember as a kid, we visited Cape Canaveral and the Shuttle was to launch that day. I can't tell you how disappointed I was when it was scrubbed. I guess that's why as an adult, that kid in me wants to be able to go up to our roof tonight and try to spot it in the sky.

24. Yeah, I am exactly the same way.
And since I live in Florida, I have thought about going up there to Canaveral to see it, but I am worried about a scrub too and how disappointed I would be. Can't see it from the Keys though, damn it....Psst (you can smoke when you go up on the roof right?)

just haven't wanted to watch any launches live. *Too many bad memories*

33. Yeah, re Challenger - I posted up thread
A close friend of mine saw that too...she says that cloud hung in the air forever that day. Well, right now, they are still holding at 5 minutes. Low ceiling, so they could not be able to return to Canaveral if there were a problem. I'm thinking it might not happen tonight. Damn.

we'll both be able to enjoy it, even though we're thousands of miles away.
