Happy flu season!

Last night, my daughter started losing everything she's ever eaten, then came the fever. Today, it was a trip to the doctor, complete with IV drip. Her temp is now at 103, and I'm pretty sure that all the fluids have revisited her. I got about three hours of sleep last night because girly was up all night puking. So it begins, flu season is upon us. I'm just hoping that we don't pass it around the house before it's all over.

1. That dreaded virus just left my house

My seven year old daughter started with a fever of 101 on Sunday and a horrible headache, complete with moaning and tears. Brought her to the doctor on Monday and she started throwing up in the exam room. (Any time my kids have horrible headaches I'm at the doctor's office paranoid about meningitis, because my 13 year old had it two years ago). Turned out to be the nasty virus that has been going around. She stopped puking about 12 hours after she started. Now it's two days later and she is finally almost 100% better. I am sending her back to school tomorrow.


I have disinfected everything in my house, moving or not. I am crossing my fingers and praying that the rest of us stay healthy. I hate these stupid viruses. I hope that your daughter feels better soon.
