Was I wrong to answer an e-mail?

Background: My husband refuses to learn anything about the computer. His friends in his stock club send him stuff to my address. I open them and print them out for hubby. This morning a forwarded message arrived announcing Hillary's crash site pictures..........a broom in a field. Without clearing it with hubby I answered that they had the story wrong, that it was Ann Coulter on her way to see Rush in Rehab.

Now the question: Was I to answer that e-mail?

1. Delete it and never say a word.

2. Print it for hubby (as usual) and offer to respond to it for him.."I know just what to say".

Obviously it is ok for you to READ his email, but without his express or blanket permission you have no right to reply to it.

24. E-mail is not the post office...they did not pay a dime for a stamp...

and they sent it to you...it is like mail sent to you in your name with 'Dear Richard' in the heading. The adressee has control over the mail....GO girl!! You did the correct thing...that will teach them to send you reighty crap!!!
