1. Hey, I do the best I can
But I'm the only HR person in my store, and I get crapped on for every little thing that goes wrong.

:P

3. We have an "education" benefit
Which some people use to spend a week in Vegas at a "conference" - costs the company $5K or so. And they have a good time out there.

I am asking for online training for certifications in my field. I will stay at home and do all the work online and then take the exams. Cost: $1250. Really reasonable. HR is making me defend my choice, instead of encouraging me to do the certifications or thanking me for saving them some money.

I want to scream!

5. Maybe they don't understand why someone would want to
spend work money on work rather than on fun. If I worked at your place of employment, I wouldn't make it so hard on you.

6. Thanks
They just don't know anything about it at all, but I have to have their approval. So does everyone.

2. And not in a good way, I presume?

There's a reason why they're called inhuman resources...

4. I just don't know why they have to have their noses in everything.
