Lisa's words of wisdom:
1) If your SO tells you during your courtship "I'm a monster" it might be a good idea to believe him/her.
2) It is possible I posted something embarrassing tonight. Pay no attention, please.

1. As for No. 1,
it is usually said as an excuse for ACTING like a monster. As in, "I know, Sweetheart, but I can't help it. It's the way I am. I'm a monster."

but I was wrong.

Hope it hasn't happened to you.

3. I didn't see it at the time.
One should admire such people for their honesty, however!

13. Perhaps Your Picker Is Broke?
and you just need a picker adjustment?

seriously, if someone tells you they are a monster it might be good to listen to them like you said.

people usually put their best foot forward in relationship then when they feel it is safe for them, they begin to show their arse.

You're okay, and you are a bright person (your writing skills betray that factoid) so I have no doubt that you will take what you have learned and put it to use.

  more hugs
