Goin' to Vegas!
Well my dear comrades! I'll be off line for a few days. The ol' ball and chain and I are winging our way to Sin City for New Years. We got tickets for Cher on the 2nd and will be having a Par-tay for the next few days!

I hear it's SNOWING!!! Yikes! Should be a wunnerful time!

Happy New Year, my friends. It all about Shrub Out The Door In 2004!!!

2. While in Las Vegas --
--have lots of fun, watch out for any low-flying Air France jets, and for the love of Christ, leave your almanac at home.

Michael's sister lives in Vegas and since the "terrah" alert, a lot of people of cancelling. Fuck that!! I'm gonna see Cher and play the slots. Screw W and his fake ass threats.

5. Me, too!
I'm going to Vegas on New Year's Day. Someone asked me if I'm scared because of the alert...Hell, no! If I'm going to die I'd rather die (at age 55) sitting in front of a slot machine than in my bed at age 95 never having experienced life.

Edited on Tue Dec-30-03 08:54 PM by TankLV
The whole valley was blanketed.

Snow fall # 2 or 3 depending on where you live in the valley.

Supposed to have at least 4 major snowstorms in Vegas this winter.

Read it in the uh -

"almanac" for this year.

PLEASE DON'T ARREST ME!

And remember -

Gambling's only a problem when your LOSING!

I plan to be at home in front of the nice natural wood fire with my partner and our doggies & cat!

Got my jammies all ready!

It was 30 when I woke up this morning, and snowing just as pretty as you please, a couple or three inches even stuck until mid-morning or so.

14. You must be on the west side
I live near Trop & Rainbow, we got "hit pretty bad" - it was like Niagara Falls in October :-). Hopefully this will come out - I'm still trying to figure out where I can share my photos. Its a shot of my complex's main building.

12. try blackjack at Binion's
We had a blast the week before Thanksgiving. Single deck blackjack in an old-time las Vegas atmosphere. I couldn't believe the difference between downtown and the strip!

13. If you're coming tomorrow, get checked in early.
They're projecting 700,000 people down at the Strip to see the fireworks display that's being shot off of 8 casinos simultaneously (MB down to the Venetian, I beleive). You won't be able to drive on the Strip or go east off 15 after 6PM. Plus, no bottles or backpacks allowed - you need to take your drink in a plastic cup. The fireworks start at midnight and last 8 minutes.
