We went to my parent's place for Thanksgiving this year.
My parents still live in my childhood home.

Me in the back yard.

Mr. kt holding Sniffles in the guest room (what use to be my study and music practice room.)

Mr. kt playing a little piano.

Sniffles...

My mommy and daddy.

Me with my parents.

2. We were there from Wednesday night to Sunday morning!
And still smiling.

Well, it helps that we are all of like mind, so there really aren't any taboo topics. We're all liberal Democrats who like football and playing with the cat. So, staying sane is relatively sane.

3. Good for you! You are really lucky!
Unfortunately football is where common interests with my family end.

Except of course for food!

6. It was good to see my parents, too.
Dad has been through some health issues with cancer and some eye surgeries. He has always taken such good care of himself, thought, that the doctors say he's recovering like a 25 year old, not a 65 year old! Whew!

5. No. I grew up in the North Bay Area (of San Francisco.)

Usually, it's a seven hour drive, from door to door. Sunday, it was a twelve hour drive, door to door. We were part of the 3.7 million Californians driving over the Thanksgiving holiday!

7. Wonderful pictures!
I don't think I've seen any pictures of you besides the wedding photo you have posted.

Looks like you had a great holiday.

8. We had a great weekend.
Mr. kt is like the son they never had, so it makes for pleasant visits. We realize how unusual our situation is, believe me.
