It's RAINING in Southern California

Aside from a 5 minute "rain" about 6 weeks ago, this is Los Angeles' first rain since last May. The roads are actually wet. There are SigAlerts all over the city. It's amazing how slick roads can get when water combines with 6 months of grease/oil/road grime.

I think we should just have a "snow" day.

at least, that's what they said on the news last night. But then again, the "weatherpeople" here are a freakin' joke, so who knows. ;)
