So, we had us a gay in for the meal tonight....
Of course this was after we had set on down to break bread with the old folks we knew... If don't matter if they still remember us, just that we remember them... It was a fancy dancy kinda meal but the food was right good, and we had us a time....

I went home to take me a nap since I had trouble sleeping the night before...

When I woked up, it was time to get my breeches back on and head over to my little sisters house...

That's were the Gay fella came in...

I kinda figured he would a been there since he don't have any other family in these parts, so my little sis kinda adopted him for the major holidays...

WE talked about politics, of course and I asked my Gay Friend what's all this hoopla about a Gay Agenda... And he said as far as he could tell, it was about gettin' as many pottery barn as close to gay gatherin' places... HE says it fdon't have nothing at tall to do with recruitin' new gay folks since there don't seem to be a shortage where that part comes in... HE says the Republican Party had done a right good job of gettin' the gay folk all up in arms and also that there seemed to be a lotta interest in the gay life style amongst consrevatives...

We laughed and tallked a lot and before we knew it, it was time to drive him back to his house...

I can't wait till christmas comes a rollin around... He promised to tell us all about the Lesbian Agenda....

6. "So, we had us a black in for the meal tonight...."
"That's were the Black fella came in..."

"...and I asked my Black Friend..."

"HE says the Republican Party had done a right good job of gettin' the black folk all up in arms and also that there seemed to be a lotta interest in the black life style amongst consrevatives..."

----

Those sentences all sound really wrong, don't they? There's a reason they sound wrong. They are wrong. And it's just as wrong with the original word of "gay."

I entertained the kids by wrestling with them after dinner. I'm so happy I'm not a gay man, because I have a terrible singing voice. You boys all sing so nice, though.

20. I don't think so.
Olivia is 5 and Jake is 7, so they're a bit young to figure out, if they've been infected. They're pretty gender neutral kids, though. And their parents would be fine, if they turned out to be infected.

My stepbro is probably infected and I've known him for less than two years. I think he came infected, though.

55. Yes, with a major emphasis on "trying." Listen I'm really not out to
embarrass you. Seriously.

However, you appear troubled....even in a way psychologically tormented, judging by some of the "thoughts" you compose.

(And believe me, you're certainly NOT the first DUer lots of us have offered what we consider "mental health" assistance! ;)

The bottom line, speaking as someone who is gay --- I honestly find your remarks about gay people inappropriate, hurtful....even sometimes vicious. I can't understand why the moderators don't delete more of what you say, but I've come to realize everything is subjective; rightly or wrongly.

Is there a particular reason you must lower yourself to elementary school-type name-calling? It's as though you have no self esteem, which is really too bad. You've heard the 'ol saying....people name call to try to feel better about themselves.

I was telling someone here at DU (who, to be honest, is paper trail crazy wanting to get you banned) that I personally feel you're almost crying for help.

I don't know, maybe I'm wrong. I only know you from your hurtful posts. That's about it.

You would be so much more interesting, intelligent, likable, etc., if you dumped the gay jokes!

Why not try challenging your mind instead of resorting to the playground talk?

Initially, I was going to lash out at you, and zero in on certain traits in an attempt to, well, humiliate you.

But I thought, that's ridiculous. I should take the high road and offer help to a fellow DU'er

I hope you choose to take advantage. Try to think.

The alternatives are otherwise unpleasant. :(

Have a wonderful weekend and good luck!

However, I don't appreciate yet another jab at GLBT people and their straight allies by referring to us as the "Gay Police."
