Early eaters: Who's ready for a turkey sandwich or second piece of pie?
I just raided my "take home bag" for a few bites of the other wing that was saved exclusively for me. And a couple of bites of pumpkin pie. I think I'm done for the day. Burp.

Oh, anyone who read a previous post that said I wouldn't eat again for weeks...please disregard.

1. ...urp... Not yet...
But there's a piece of pumpkin pie in the fridge, just waiting...

2. Me! I'm having a sandwich right now, and will have another slice of pie.
And another glass of wine.

Then to bed for some TV watching and an early-ish night!

First, though, I have to download the bunch of pictures we just took.

3. Another glass? Good grief, I just couldn't...oh, what the heck...
Pour me just a little bit. Oh, don't be so stingy. Oh just a touch more...wait, I'll get a bigger glass...

4. Sadly, no more tangy zip of Miracle Whip.
High-fructose corn syrup.

Used to LOVE leftover turkey sammiches with that stuff.

5. You could try "our" sandwich...
(I say "ours" in quotation marks because we didn't make it up, but it is our standard leftover sandwich now)

Split and lightly toast a kaiser roll. Spread with cranberry sauce (homemade, canned, whatever kind you like). Fry a slice or two of leftover turkey just long enough to add a little color and heat it through. Make a patty of stuffing and do the same. Layer the stuffing patty and turkey onto the kaiser roll. Enjoy.

7. I was just thinking that as you posted!
Wondering, should I go straight for the sandwich or do the second-helping-of-everything-again dinner?

8. See, I'm with you.
The family likes the sandwich thing, but I'm pretty much a second-helping-of-the-whole-thing person myself. Well, maybe not the pickles. I like to draw the line at something.

9. I'm making cranberry scones for breakfast tomorrow...
but looks like I'm heading for the leftover turkey right now. I can't go to bed until this episode of That '70s Show comes on in an hour, so I'm gonna need a snack.
