1. I have just about every other Decemberists album,
but not this one, yet. I'm looking forward to it.

2. It's pretty good.
I dont like it nearly as much as Picaresque but it's pretty good.

4. I love...
..singing along with that one.

"'But oh did you see all the dead of Monassis, all the bellies and the bones and the bile?'

'No, I lingered here with the blankets barren and my own belly big with child.'"

5. Decemberists are awesome.
They are my second-favorite band right now (Arcade Fire is first). I only have Picaresque and The Crane Wife right now, though. I love them both. "The Crane Wife 1" makes me cry, starting from the verse "It was a white crane/It was a helpless thing/Upon a red stain/With an arrow in its wing/And it called and cried/And it called and cried so."

I also love singing along with "Yankee Bayonet (I Will Be Home Then)" (actually I like singing along with all of them, but particularly that one), and I love, LOVE "Sons and Daughters."

Apparently, though, I am the only person who likes "The Perfect Crime 2" and "When the War Came."
