18. Yup, HELL NO is my answer too.
It was as bad as 1993, something about those years that end in 3....

4. This has been the worst year of my life - even worse than
getting fired by Reagan!

Jan 1 was a flood. And got laid off my job. Feb I got robbed and my car died. I finally got a job in Sept at half my salary of last year. Totally depressed and not feeling well. Looking to get laid off in a few more months and all the jobs I'm qualified for are going over seas. Now I get to spend my 10 days of unpaid holiday leave sick with bronchitis! And the worst - Bush is still in the White House and no impeachment in sight!

6. 2003 wasn't all that bad
but since I've already experienced it I think I'd prefer to see what 2004 has to offer.

10. Beat me to the punch, 'magico
However, I'd like to point out that, in the alternate universe where Al Gore is President, he has either been impeached on trumped up charges (or perhaps like Clinton, on charges much less significant than the laws broken by his foes to set the Perjury Trap) or Wellstoned but good (although, perhaps in that alternate universe, only Gore has yet been Wellstoned and Wellstone himself still alive for a bit longer).

As the Busheviks reveal more and more of themselves and their plans, as I learn more I come to realize that the ONLY good alternate universe would be the one where FDR exposed the 1934 Smedley Butler Coup and prosecuted the Rethugs who perpetrated it. You can bet your ass, Hitler's Angel Prescott Bush's name would have eventually come out.

You have to go that far back and perhaps further to root out the Bush Crime Family influence.

8. Good and bad
Good: Getting to hang out with Mary Wilson. Getting my new kitties.

Bad: Losing my beloved cat, Mickey.

9. 2003 was one of those turning point years of my life
I lost 50 pounds this year. I went back to school. I'm starting to face head on certain problems in my life that I previously ignored. I further expanded my mind here at DU and have been reawakened in many ways overall. Would I want to live this year over? No, but I'm happy to have lived it once. I have no clue what 2004 will have in store for me, but I certainly have various thoughts, hopes, and fears regarding it. I guess we'll see.

11. I've had a big year. I'm about ready to put this one to bed.
I would hate to have to do all the work of this year over again.

14. Hell NO!
Though I have re-evaluated some central things about myself this year (and that has been worthwhile), no I am happy, happy to see the back end of 2003!

15. HELL YES
Bush is here whether we like it or not.

I would re-live 2003 and learn budgeting so I'd be in better financial shape. This shithole of a world revolves around money, so I may as well start conforming. :eyes:

17. No freaking way
It was a heartbreaker and bad news right from the beginning, with two friends passing away and the loss of two of my "kids." (Four legged and furry, in case you were wondering.) In addition, there was a cross country move that I NEVER want to do again, and unemployment running out with no extensions left, and just general misery all the way around.

19. No
My beloved cat Frances died in March. It was horrible. I almost had a nervous breakdown leading up to it. In fact, I had to drive myself to the hospital one night because I was having a horrible anxiety attack and couldn't breathe. She was beautiful. She looked like CatWoman's cat named Trinity.

20. HELL NO!
I had the job from hell (thank God I'm now working someplace else), I had a breakup that left me devastated (and her as well), and I had the MOST depressing day of my life (April 12) due to the breakup and the job. My best friend also experienced the worst breakup of his life, as did a couple who were together for over 7 years and were like my family. I'll be thrilled when 01/01/04 is here.

21. Hmm, lost a job, lost a girlfriend, sank into depression, SURE WHY NOT?
Are you freaking kidding me? The only way I would relive 2003 is if it was a do-over, allowing me to make decisions differently.
If the rules were to do it again the same way, I'd rather just crawl onto an ice floe and push away from land, headed off to die alone.
