9. Funny EWOK story
IN hi-school for video class I made a mock comercial for a resort that specialized in EWOK hunting. I got some footage of the storm troopers chasing them and shooting at them..it was pretty funny.

I hate Ewoks.

I was told that the Endor plot in Return of the Jedi was originally supposed to be Chewbacca's home world. Instead of little teddy bears, there were supposed to be hundreds or thousands of angry, 8-foot-tall bad asses kicking butt. That would've been much, much more fun.

Death to Ewoks.

15. Yep. The 1979 Star Wars Holiday Special is to blame.
(That, and George's growing penchant for marketing to toddlers).

Lucas wasted the Wookie homeworld - Kashyyk (sp?) on the Holiday Special, thereby shooting the "Wookie-Load" too early.

Had we not seen Wookies on TV in 1979, Return of the Jedi just might have turned out to be a kickass movie instead of a joke.
