Being semi-secure in my new position as safety guy at a local college, I have started to turn my thoughts towards "growing up." Of course, since I was passed over by Minnesota Mining and...something, I don't have the $$$ to play with that ALL of my former classmates do, but hey, I'm willing to settle for less!
Well, less space any way. ;)
My gf and I work on opposite sides of the metro are aand are both rather keen on residing close to where we each work so co-habitation is unlikely. Not to mention premature (We've only been dating for a few months). Nonetheless I am tired of having roommates, I lose coutn but I think I'm on to about the low 30s 33, 34 something like that. The relaxed and informal style of living I have pursued thus far is begining to wear quite thin. Nothin' against the guys I'm crashing with now, I just wanna see what it's like to be more or less "average" if not "normal."
After work tonight I'm gonna go look at a few itty bitty "dollhouse" style shacks in the unfashionable--though not really exceptionally crime-ridden section of town. Yep, nothing fancy for ol' eyepaddle--just something close to work, with room for: 1) me, 2) my Bookshelves, and 3) my precious kayaks.
Oh yeah off street parking for the jallopy is kind of a plus!
Yep, strange days indeed! B-)
