Can anyone get into Hotmail?

I'm having some trouble logging into my hotmail account for the second day. Yesterday afternoon, I couldn't even get the page to open. This morning, all I get is the "we are experiencing high volume" screen. That's a bit strange, considering I first tried to log in at 6:50 a.m. CST. Is anyone else having problems? Is the site having issues, or is there just that many people checking their e-mail at the same time as me?

It could be a heavy "traffic" time as people check their e-mail before work or school? I am going to try again a little later to see if I can get in.

9. Just got On

it's now 0800 and I just got into Hotmail...took about an hour

11. Got to the sign in page

typed in my password and got another "server busy" message. I check my mail at about 7 a.m. every day, and I can't remember having this problem at this time of day before.

13. I havent had any problems getting on this morning, knock on wood.

but I did have one email that wouldn't load, but I refreshed the page and it worked. I got on about 730 CST

It's now 9:30 am CST, and no one at my office has been able to log into hotmail. I've noticed some folks on this thread are having problems, while others aren't. Could this be a regional thing? I don't know much about how websites and mail servers work, so I have no idea if that's a possibility.

BTW: I'm just outside of Chicago.
