bought pirated software. what now?

ok, i am stupid, cheap and human. got some spam advertising "adobe software at firesale prices". the website claimed they were full versions, but disks only. said they were leftover bundled software. they were $50-100. so, i couldn't resist. i use quark to do my buttons, but i would really like to have indesign. so i bought it. the disk comes and it is smashed in the mail, so they replace it. i didn't even really look at it. when the replacement comes, it is not only an extremely bad bootleg, it is only an upgrade. so, the question is- just exactly how and to whom could i report these yahoos? i suppose i am out the money, especially if i turn these disks over to some law enforcement person. although i did pay on credit card, and could probably approach it that way. anyone out there have any experience with this???

2. you can usually find academic versions of stuff from adobe..

or Macromedia that are quite inexpensive. Check out this link, or any computer shows that might come out your way. Of course, you need an active student ID (or know someone with one ;)).
