Natural Detox?

Hey, all!

After the past beer soaked weekend, my wife and I are looking to detox the natural way and really give our systems a good flushing. Any hints, recipes, ideas would be greatly appreciated!

1. Green Tea and lots of water.

Safe and inexpensive way of detoxing. But not the quickest.

If you'd like make a trip down to you local health food store and really get serious, I'd recommend Goldenseal.

Your looking at a couple hundred bucks (depending on what kind of deals they have on the cleansing kit) and a month of a VERY restricted diet. You can also look forward to some quite disgusting bowel movements as your body rids itself of mucoid plaque.

This is a highly beneficial process. You would not believe how much toxic crap you have in your system--mainly your bowels and intestines.

3. There is also a liquid way of detoxing over a few days

where you slowly introduce steamed veggies and brown rice into your system after drinking only liquids for a day or two. I'll see if I can find the website. My friend did it after last New Years and felt great. I personally don't have the willpower.

6. I was reading the website...

and I don't think I can do the TWO *coffee* enemas each and every day. I can drink 2 cups a day, but drinking coffee through the "out door" is not my idea of a good time.

haven't had a chance to read it, but it is a free 21 day detox program for better health (a lot were for heroine addicts, which is a different nature that what I think you and I have an interest).
