18. My holidays were really good...

for the most part. I had one little spat with my sister-in-law but we talked it out. I got to teach my 4 year old nephew to ride his new bike. My guy best friend cooked homemade jambalaya for me. I got the Indiana Jones box set on DVD. My little brother went through all his stuff up in the attic and gave me a pair of sweats with our high school logo on them that he wore back in high school. That's right - I've lost so much weight that I can wear his clothes from back then. GO ME!

I was a little bit bad and ate too much and exercised too little but I got back on the wagon when I got back to Austin. I went jogging for the first time yesterday morning. I'm sore. I'll live.

Anyway, how was your xmas? Did Santa bring you a Red Rider bb gun? :-)

My Christmas was pretty good. I read about the thing with your sister-in-law. My in-laws behaved themselves mostly, except when, for some reason, the conversation fell into the subject of gays, and my father-in-law remarked: "You know, them people who just got all their rights." Like that was a bad thing. Oh well. Family. What can you do?

I got "From the Earth to the Moon" on DVD. Cool! :thumbsup:
