I don't know whether to laugh, or cry...
Tony will habitually say "Yes, Pat..." or "Yes, babe.." in response to mildly confrontational questions, and I just asked him why, when he did it again. His answer was "Because i love you enough to agree, even when i don't; 99.9% of the time it's not really important in the grand scheme of things, any way.".

Should I kiss him, or smack him? :P

2. He's attempting not to escalate in a confrontation
Rather than kiss or smack him, you should ask him if you suppress him :-) Odds are you do and he's hesitant to admit it. ;-)

He says he's just not big into confrontations that serve no good purpose. As a note, he WILL fight back about something big. :)

6. That is very sweet
but be sure he feels comfortable enough to disagree when it really means something to him otherwise he may store it then blow up. Just a suggestion from one who for too long kept the peace then BLEW! I had to re learn how to deal with folks once I got married. Things are much better now.

7. We have a 'bitch fest' every Sunday morning, over tea and toast.
The only rule is you can't 'personalize' it; we're both always amazed at one or two things that get revealed, and then resolved. Who knew he'd prefer to be the cuddler, rather than the cuddlee, e.g.? Hehehe... :)

8. Great idea.
When couples do things like that they tend to stay together, at least in my experience. Good for you. He sounds, from what you have said on past threads, like one heck of a good guy but then you do as well. Go cuddle!

One of my employees is closing the shop today. CYA later, folks.
