So what was your trick-or-treating weather like?
Us? According to my thermometer, mid-20's, and there were about 20 mph winds. I froze my ass off. My kids, apparently, are impervious to frigid temperatures when involved in candy acquisition.

3. perfect cave temperature...54 degrees, clear sky
and no wind.

Not many come round in our neighborhood but there is no mistaking this house is a welcoming one:

inside front door wide open,
porch light on
jack o lantern on the porch
creepy little blinking tree on the mail box
orange and purple lights on the hedges
purple light bat in front bay window
stack o jack o lanterns in other window
row o jack o lanterns next to the stack

4. Same here
Don't understand what is with these kids nowadays....of course I remember trudging in a blizzard in '91 from a Party. Tough to walk around with a buzz in the middle of the largest storm of my lifetime.

5. Nice and warm...
In the 60's. No need for jackets. Very nice. Still...light turnout for Trick or Treaters.

7. It's very cold tonight...just like it usually is in...
...N. Texas on Halloween night. Happened all but 2 of the last 16 years I've been here...perfect weather, and warm nights, right up until Halloween night itself. Then, on Halloween, it dips down into the 40's or worse. It's crazy.

9. A little crisp, but nice.
I took ChoralBoy out for a little candy-hoarding myself. It was chilly, but I don't think he cared.

He is dressed as the Golden Goblin, which is our school's mascot. (He's wearing a Goblin head on his shirt also)

10. He's the cutest goblin I've ever seen!

I just love that smile.
;-)

It's not to chilly here, about 60 here with light overcast
skies.

It's been a very light turnout this Halloween.
Maybe it will pick up a little later.

11. Where we lived before,
the churches had all but squashed out Halloween.

Up here, I've never seen so many kids IN MY LIFE! Our candy supply was obliterated in under an hour.

12. Perfect trick or treating weather here in western PA.
About 50 degrees, starry skies. Even so, we didn't get any kids... too far out in the sticks.

15. Perfect out here on the west coast.
a bit chilly, but certainly not by YOUR standards. :D We're probably in the low 50's, the moon is waxing towards full, it's a beautiful night, the kids are out having a great time. Tonite is the first time we're letting our 10 yr old dtr out by herself and her best friend. They've got a cell phone and they're checking in every 15 minutes. Our 12 yr old was out with his buddy, checking in, too. My hubby and I almost feel like "empty-nesters", it's a bit weird, but I don't miss the schlepping around part. :D

:hi:
