I'm such a sneaky, rat-like snitch........
Okay,

gal across the way in the other apartment is moving out. Fine. Good riddance.

Why good riddance? the empty-headed idiot is dumping all this furniture in our garbage bins. There is like no room for our garbage (we have 4 buildings)

I saw idiot girl and her friends do this. I went out to take a look letting them know I was on to them. I even took some of their crap OUT and gave it back to them. (God, I need to get out more)
Girly didn't like that, said I needed to get a life. I told her to shut her stupid mouth and I'm going to report her.

I go out this afternoon, I come back, there is MORE furniture in the bin.

I email my own place of work reporting them. :hide: I even got a licence plate number but didn't report that.

Why should we get charged for HER crap. The garbage guys won't pick up the bin if it's full of junk.....they didn't pick up for over a week last time somebody dumped shit and a strong wind blew the real garbage (put on top of everything) over the neighbourhood.

So, I'm a demented, weasel-y, rat-like snitch apartment dweller. :) I've talked to my landlords the last time I noticed people illegally dumping but they said nothing could really be done.
Bullshit.....there is always something that could be done. :)

1. You did fine. She could have easily called Good Will.
They pick up furniture for free.

OR, she could have put a listing on craigslist. People would have come to take the stuff for free.

2. I just find attitudes like hers annoying.....
glad idiot girl is out of the neighbourhood now. Oh, but maybe she'll be back, she seems to be moving out in stages.

4. But I'm getting tired of this......
I wouldn't know of any of this except that one of my windows is near where the bin is. If somebody drops a piece of furniture in it, I can hear.

I'm tired of complaining about what some people do. :( But I see what's happening, so I really can't just ignore it, guess it's not my nature NOT to care. (I'm super sensitive to everything)

5. I am totally with you
I can be the same way, but when it has a direct effect on your life and or finances you have to do what you have to do. Especially since they are obviously doing it with wilfull disregard for the cost on the owners of the building and their tennants.

Show understanding over occasional loud music, or someone who occasionally drops something large in there because they have noother way to get rid of it. But what you are talking aobut here is being done with obvious malicous intent. Don't feel bad about reporting it.

6. I don't know what their intent was.....
but hell, they would have to see that it's now full, and 4 buildings here will have no place to put their stuff.

it's like an entire sofa!

thing was, they could have gotten all their crap taken away for 10 bucks. what boneheads. :)
