Web hosting/ server question...

OK - right now I have several websites hosted by a company whose service has drastically declined in the past two months. I'm looking for another reliable company where I can actually talk to a person when an issue arises (this company I'm currently with now communicates solely by email - and it is extremely frustrating). Anyone here have any recommendations? I need reliable servers! Help!

1. I use netfirms.com

I used Dreamhost for years and they started pissing me off. I switched to netfirms a little while back. The service is good (Toronto based) but a few little things bother me. But, ten bucks for the first year with this link. http://netfirms.com/maxpc

I was getting tons of problems with uptime and e-mail with dreamhost. Netfirms has been solid for the month I have used them. And, I don't get anything if you click the link above..

right now even my Fr#&*!*#*$ email is down b/c of the incompetence of the company I'm with, along with my websites. Argh!

3. Interesting

I've been with Dreamhost for over 6 years and have had very few problems. I would recommend them to others without any reservations. When I started with them I had 30mb of disk space for 9.95 a month now I have 206gb of space still for 9.95. I would easily estimate my uptime in the 99.99% range over the 6 years. They also seem really transparent about what's happening behind the scenes their with their status page and blogs.
