1. Our regular stores
In NoCal, Safeway and Albertson's both carry it alongside the cow's milk.

3. You can buy goat's milk cheese in your local supermarket

and it's good tasting.

There are many people who also eat goat meat or Chevron. I have never tried that meat. I would think that if one is meat eater, and has some land, they could probably "grow" their own meat or beef or cheveron or lamb. That way one is sure of the quality, and it seems to me ironic that this is the way that subsistence farming was done years and years ago, along with fishing. Every household had a cow that provided milk. :-) Now if you tried to gather mussels off the shorline, they most likely will be contaminated and would make you sick. There are also commercial farms that grow organic beef that is beef raised by grazing and not by feed.

Vegetarian diets are no better unless there are strict regulations that would determine the label "vegetarian or organic" be strictly regulated. Lately, that has been relaxed.

Grow your own if you can.

4. At the goat farm, under the table
Whole Foods Market sells it, if you have one nearby.

I think there are laws that make it hard to buy. Government wants it homogenized and won't vouch for its safety. Goats eat anything and sometimes the properties are passed in the milk. I had a friend who raised goats and one of the goats munched down a bunch of poison ivy. Drinking the milk made them all really sick.

Its supposed to be much healthier for you than cows' milk. I remember as a kid eating goat's milk ice cream; it was the best!

5. Health Food Stores or
buy Organic milk - and organic beef. I like my lattes made with Soy Milk - more foamy and sweeter.

13. most supermarkets do
Even the mainstream outfits like Safeway and Kroger's.

Health food store would be your best bet, if you do not shop at the big chains.
