One of my best friends found her neighbor beaten to death this morning

She had an abusive, alcoholic boyfriend.

I have a friend who has suffered from alcoholism. I wish her son could get some kind of test before he ever tries any, to see if he could become addicted, as both of his parents have had problems.
I hope you wrap your arms around Ziz and give her hugs. It would be difficult to get that terrible picture out of her mind.

26. OMG!!! How sad....a similar thing

happened to a co worker (P) of mine over Memorial Day weekend 2005. When we returned to work on the Tuesday following Memorial Day we were told that P's husband had stabbed her to death and set the house on fire. They had one kid in college who was the one who called the cops

After this co worker's death people started putting things together and taking note of bruises and such they saw on P. Seems she was routinely abused and said nothing of it to anyone at work.
