Coreg - new drug for post heart attack sufferers...

I looked it up, it seems nothing more than a blood thinner.

Anyone know why paying for this drug would be a good idea when drugs and herbal resolutions that thin blood already exist?

I have used this drug many times to help a patient of mine who had a massive heart attack. It is much more than a blood thinner. He occasionally suffers from SVT, Super Ventricular Tachycardia, which is a fancy way to say his heart is beating too fast so it doesn't pump blood right. Giving him a dose of the Coreg will help slow his heart down. I have to say as a nurse there are many drugs that I come in contact with on a regular basis, and Coreg is one of the few that I would say really is very effective. Don't screw around with your heart man, or you will have to deal with people like me, the male version of Nurse Ratchet...:D
