Here's the story...

My town (okay, I'll tell you, it is Erie, PA) was rumored to be the meeting point between the Youngstown, Buffalo & Pittsburgh mafias. Apparently, they all decided they needed a good meeting place so they built a mall shaped like a gun over some secret meeting rooms in the basement!!!

I'm actually the guy who thinks stop motion was the aesthetic apex of special effects technology. But I had that particular model gun when I was a lad, which is the only reason I recognized it and opened my big mouth! (Any other gun and it would have looked just like a blaster to me, but I had to be a know-it-all...)

You're probably right about the available real estate! But, on the other hand, my dad remembers when our mall was built and he says that it was built on completely vacant woods and farmlands.

It's one of those malls that was added to bit by bit over the years. It actually started as two malls that grew together.
