I'm baaaaaack

What a great vacation that was, I seriously did not want to come back to work this morning. I visited some friends up in MA and we just sat around eating, drinking and playing games, it was very relaxing. Mt friend Barb made 'from scratch' lobster bisque, yum :) I made my special Buffalo sauce for wings as well as a lasagna. Bill smoked and b-b-q'd some great ribs and Peg made some game hens stuffed with wild rice and grapes (with garlic mashed on the side).

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted but back to the grind.

Lots of possibilities but no committment from an employer yet. I went to the county building and filed for foodstamps. Humiliating. :(

10. The food was awesome

My friends Peg and Barb are both wonderful cooks. It was so nice to have a really well cooked meal for a change. I'm not a complete slouch when it comes to cooking (hey, single guys eventually learns to make something decently) but these girls are exceptional. When Barb made the bisque, she even made the lobster stock from scratch :wow: way ahead of my abilities :)
