1. Are you typing this from the jury box? Shouldn't you be paying
attention to the trial?

:D

2. Whatever, the guy's probably guilty
He doesn't need to pay attention.

4. Yeah. I'd go with capital punishment, too.
Even if it's just a civil case.

7. Hehehehehe...
Yep! Got the laptop going, my celly-phone to one ear, and my i-Pod on the other.

Now I just need a way to get my satellite TV hooked up, and I'll be all set!

9. I've not even been in the courthouse yet...
They keep us in the library (right across the plaza) until they need a panel. They let all of the panels go for the day... except the one I'm on. My luck is holding....

8. I got my summons in Friday's mail
45 years old and I've never gotten one before.

Yippee.

Why am I less than enthusiastic about this new experience?

11. Because it gives new meaning to the word....
SUCK!!!!

But I'm doing some early online Christmas shopping, so I guess that's my silver lining.

Plus, I'm right near a bar that I frequent, so when 6:00 I'll hit the ol' happy hour!!!!
