What's your personal indulgence?
Do you have something you treat yourself with? I just got back from a professional manicure/pedicure which is how I indulge myself. My job is rough on my hands and I'm on my feet all day so it's heavenly to have them pampered and lotioned and softened. And the pretty polish is nice too.

1. My job is tough on the head
I am a "number crunching monkey" for a call center, it can be stressful on the noggin. So, after work, my indulgence, is to straighten out the head :)

:hippie:

"Then one day, I met a man, who came to me and said, 'Hard work good, and hard work fine. But first take care of head.'"

2. Well, that's another indulgence
But I've been budgeting for that for 30 years - it's more of a staple now. :smoke:

4. Amen brother!
Unfortunately, not having received a pay raise in 3.5 years, the economy has moved it from staple to paper-clip in my budget :(

Still, to me, it is the best anti-depressant in the world and always has a place in my home :smoke:

9. So now you smoke two joints when you get up?
In the car, you smoke two joints?

You smoke two joints at the video game?

And at every 10,000 points, you smoke two joints?

16. Very nice
I'm enjoying a cup of hot chocolate laced with Godiva chocolate liqueur, a generous shot of Kahlua, another of Bailey's and a splash of vanilla vodka.

Actually, it's about half a cup of hot chocolate and half a cup of booze.

But damn! It's good! And my fingers and toes look lovely. :hi:

24. I can taste the decadence from here!
Godiva is best as follows:

2 parts Godiva
1 part Amareto (Disorino (sp) is best)

in bucket on rocks, fill to top with half&half.

They are soooooooooooooo good and you can spice it up with 1 part 100 proof vodka if you want kick.

10. You know, I've never tried chai
I've been drinking Earl Grey so long, it doesn't even occur to me to try something else. I shouldn't be so hidebound.

22. The chai at Starbucks is terrible. They shouldn't even be allowed to call
it chai. Go to a Mom & Pop style coffeehouse, one that carries "Big Train" brand chai, and order a spiced chai. I've tried all the brands, and Big Train brand has the best flavor by far. Most other brands use way too much cardamom, and it tastes like you're drinking cardamom tea instead of chai. True chai has a balance of flavors so that no one spice dominates.

23. I like your drinking style.
I always prefer to mix my own concoctions of drinks. I have one that I call "Chocolate Vodka Sunrise." I'll share the recipe. You might like this one. I can see how adding some Kaluha would make this drink much better.

I take a regular glass and mix 1 part vodka, 1 part chocolate milk, and add 3 tablespoons of Ovaltine Rich Chocolate mix and a squirt of Hershey's syrup. I stire and drink until the sun rises on that mixture, then I actually watch the sun rise for fun. I haven't done it in a long time, but right now, it may be the answer to my 3 day migraine. My aunt sometimes will give me some of her coffee with a squirt of Hershey's syrup and some chocolate milk instead of regular milk, when I have one of these relentless types of headaches. It works most of the time too.

20. hair care products, that gets me every time i get my do done
for awhile i was using Pureology and i loved it, a little went a ling way and then the salon switched over to Aveda so i got some sap moss shampoo and conditioner, i gotta tell you i hate it and i'm pissed because it was the same price as the other stuff but you don't get nearly as much and it doesn't smell all the great.

21. Yeah, I spend a lot on my hair
It's long - right down to my ass - and thick. It tends to get dry if I don't use some deep conditioners regularly and I like to use good but gentle shampoos on it. Luckily, I only wash it twice a week (to help it from getting really dry and brittle) because it takes a lot just to cover it all.

I never tried Pureology - I'm using Biolage with a variety of conditioners and detanglers and all that crap.

One of these days, I'll get into a mood and chop it all off. :)

25. New clothes.
This probably sounds goofy, but I like to have something new to wear on Mondays, so I go shopping almost every weekend to pick up something to wear on Monday! If I don't find something, it's no big deal, but it just kind of makes Mondays a little more bearable to have a new article of clothing or jewelry to wear.
