One of the most successfull costumes I ever wore was a pirate. Chicks dig pirates. You can go up to anyone and say "Arrrr have ye got any rum!?" and you're in.

Hell I was walking home once, carrying a little plastic drink sword and did that to some girls I didn't know sitting on a porch and they invited us up to their porch for a drink.
