Cowboy boots. I have more than 20 pair but haven't worn any of them in more than five years.

9. other than certain anatomical features,
such as my brain,

I have three old computers I never use anymore

a guitar I never play (I also have five other guitars I DO play)

several vintage keyboards I never play

a gift VCR-DVD combo that's been sitting in its box unopened next to the TV for two months now.

But I did clean out a closet and an armoire and several boxes full of old clothes. ARC picked them up about half an hour ago.

but it'd also probably earn a lock.

:eyes:

Non-lockable? Clothes. Everything from a size 7 on up. I've got one outfit...skirt/blouse/shoes...that's older than #1 son.

Specifically, a Savile Row English-cut bespoke-tailored charcoal-grey suit. I'd be insane to throw it away.

Edited on Thu Oct-19-06 11:18 AM by quantessd
But I've never had a baby!
They are so cool! I will wear them if I get pregnant.

Edit: they are homemade, and are wilder and kookier than the conventially modest maternity clothes of the time.

18. A concertina, five or six old typewriters, a whole bunch of tapes...
lots of cassette tapes, actually. Two or three tea sets, a juicer, an ice cream maker, a bunch of fiesta ware, antique boots, vintage dresses I got too fat for post-babies.

22. A bread maker.
I got it for free, but it's massive and I never use it. Considering the diminutiveness of my kitchen, you'd think I'd have a better use for that space.

32. Perhaps worth it - I find most commercial pizza too greasy.
What do you top yours with? Do you make your own sauce or buy a commercial version? And what kind of chees works the best?

I'm sorry, I'm just getting a feel for this, I think it might be a good idea. :)

Also, do I need a flat stone to bake it on? And a pizza paddle? And my oven is small - will it fit?

33. If you are near a Trader Joe's you should try their pizza dough.
You can get a pizza stone and peel set at Bed, Bath, Beyond for lees than $13.00.

Trader Joe's also has an excellent pizza sauce and grated italian cheeses.

Mr GoG begged to get it about 15 years ago, when he saw it on sale. We got paddles, life vests, the whole works. It hasn't seen the water yet. I hope the seats aren't rotted...

She used it a couple of times before she gave it to me, and I have this weird thing about feet, so even though I want to use it, I always make an excuse to do something else instead.

29. Scuba gear
One ear canal is much smaller than the other, so it takes me forever to equalize and get to any depth. By the time I'd get to the dive site, it would be time to resurface. So I haven't been diving in 15 years.....

But I can't bear to get rid of it. Even though it's probably hopelessly outdated by now....
