Okay there seems to be some dispute as to why the relationship ended. "It's not you it's me" comes to mind. See how many ways it can be reported.
CBS JacksonvilleFormer Seinfeld star Jason Alexander has been dropped as the face of fast-food giants KFC after urging them to reform their ways.
The actor, who has appeared in commercials for the company, asked KFC to improve the way it treats its chickens - after being approached by animal rights group People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA).
PETA president Ingrid Newkirk explains, "After we showed him the horrible conditions under which KFC raised and kills its chickens, Jason was horrified.

PETA said it threatened a protest at the Los Angeles opening of Alexander's play, "The Producers," this spring and claimed the actor had helped to arrange a meeting between PETA and KFC that resulted in an agreement about some of the issues.
Neither Yum nor Alexander confirmed his involvement . Blum said yesterday that the PETA issue played no part in the decision not to renew Alexander's contract.
In a prepared statement, Alexander said, "Two years is an enormous success for an on-air representative and a company." He called KFC "a wonderful company to work with."
And of course NewsmaxAs NewsMax's Left Coast Report has pointed out, the thought police at PETA have badgered Alexander in the past. Would the actor, whose career has nosedived since "Seinfeld" ended, voluntarily leave a multimillion-dollar-a-year gig just to appease a pressure group? (Gasp there is money to be made why would someone even consider the ethics of squeezing every penny they possibly can out of it no matter what)
KFC, incidentally, used to stand for Kentucky Fried Chicken. Who knows what it stands for now.(I have no idea what that supposedly means)
