Who is a Caravaggio aficionado?
I'm going to Rome next month and have arranged for a private tour guide to take me to all of the Caravaggio's on view to the public there. All 20 of them! I am so psyched!

Which is your favorite? Mine the "The Burial of St. Lucy" which is in Siricusa, Sicily. I tried to see it last year when I was there but the museum was closed for renovation and the painting was in Florence for restoration.

I am particularly interested in seeing the Matthew series in the church of San Luigi dei Francesi. I'll be in Florence also on this trip and plan to see his works in the Uffizi and the Palazzo Pitti, along with some interesting Gentileschis.
