I have to practice thread abandonment, since it's my bedtime (working Sat. mornings sucks!).

But, I noticed, they showed detainees, torture of detainees, insurgents, a puppet of a President who is easily manipulated, and suicide bombers (including ones who are recent recruits in the new police). All of this seemed eerily familiar.

So...question: Is it a good thing or a bad thing, considering the target audience, to show these kinds of practices in war-time...on a popular TV show? Something to think about, I guess.

It's been a good show from the beginning, and they just kicked it up a couple of notches.
