From 1966. Hulabaloo, which was a show that had bands doing their hit songs with dancers and props. Sort of the beginning of music videos.

Anyway..... check this out. I love those chunky go-go dancers with the pistols. They all must be over 60 years old today. And Bobby Fuller died shortly after this....
You might also want to check out Greenday's version. It rocks. Clash did one too but it's bad, IMO..

2. I googled and found out he died mysteriously..........

Was found in his car, dead, covered in gasoline which was also found in his lungs and stomach. Some thought he was in with the Mob and was killed by mobsters.

The guitar in that songs reminds me of "The Jangly Guitar" that Roger McGuin of the Byrds made famous.
