19. meh, there's a neg head in every crowd but i do hear you...

it sparked up imo when coming to an american format vis-a-vis the orig...quicker cuts, spazed out disjointed hollyweird tricks with a film processor messing with the frame speeds back & forth, stuff like that, but it was imfo still creepy

the storyline, and the set up was great...don't get me wrong, it had me going for a long time, but the ending, for me at least was anti-climatic...same thing with 13 Ghosts...that movie had me going, but the damn wheel and devil clause of 13 Ghosts was...IMO, lame...the reasoning behind both movies was...not that great...

great sound & fury signifying absolutely nothing...i liked the new 'the haunting' though http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Haunting_%281999_film%29 a more proper applique imo, liked the orig too :thumbsup:

it wasn't scary at all because all of the good scenes were show in the previews. this one looks better and hopefully it will be. i may check it out.

I know I'll probably be disappointed in this one, as I didn't care much for the first one, but I'm likely to see it anyway. I have a strange tolerance for cheesy horror flicks. so if it turns out to be just another one of those it won't bother me too much. Plus, this one has Amber Tamblyn, who I'm a fan of. The primary reason for my disappointment in the first one was that I expected it to be far scarier than it actually was (I thought The Ring was a genuinely scary movie, and there was some association between the two movies).
