Please, take a moment and pray for this man.
I got this email forward from a rightwing relative:

This is a prayer request for
a man in need of prayer.

Please, take a moment and pray for this man. He is in a situation that few people find themselves. He is criticized at every turn, and few people have thanked him for the good things he has done.
Few people know the extent of his situation. We need to pray that God gives him the guidance he needs to do his job effectively. I have attached a photo of this man. Look at it. Most of you will recognize him. Please pray for him.
Feel free to pass this on to anyone else who will pray for this man. He hasn't asked me to send this request, but I am sure that he will appreciate all your prayers. If you were facing what he is facing, you'd want people praying for you!
Thanks!

No matter what party you support, this man is our President right now and needs our help in prayers.
This country belongs to all of us.
IN GOD WE TRUST

:puke:

I want something snippy, but not mean-spirited, since despite our political differences, I love this person very much.

My best so far is the obvious "trust me, ever since he became president, I've felt the overwhelming need to pray."

I haven't posted at DU in God knows how long but exposure to this influenced me to come back. :)

1. Thanks, I'll pray for the country
After what he's done to it, it needs all the prayers it can get.

2. I like your answer.
But I would add "for our country."

It makes me want to :puke: that they mistake him for someone innocent who only needs prayer. He needs to go to the same hell he's putting the country through, preferably in a deeper, hotter, part.

4. Can you send something back to them for me?

5. Every day I pray that God will give him wisdom, compassion, and a sense
of justice, mercy, and empathy.

And every day, God doesn't do it.

But I am indeed praying for that man, praying for all the guidance for his job that God can give him. So far, though, all I hear is crickets is response to that prayer.

I also pray that the Democrats win so that he can be impeached, and so that he can be charged with treason, and then later charged in the Hague for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

6. That's because
God's a gentleman. He won't force justice, mercy, and empathy on someone who doesn't want to listen to Him.

"I also pray that the Democrats win so that he can be impeached, and so that he can be charged with treason, and then later charged in the Hague for war crimes and crimes against humanity."

I'm praying the same thing.
