I've got a job offer, sort of. We still have to agree on the big things - salary, benefits, etc. He wants to talk this coming week but I've got to commit to another temp assignment by end of day on Monday. So I hope that pushing this man won't make him bolt.

It's working for a CPA doing reviews and hand-holding a few clients. It'll give me the variety I need and work that I know very, very well.

Lelapin is settled into the dorm and her second year of classes. I'm still waiting on the final determination from the financial aid office.

So, things are settling down, sort of!

My confidence is slowly coming back. While talking to this CPA last week, he was stumped by something in a program I know well. I was able to show him how to fix the problem and in the process, prove I know what I'm doing. :)
