Something below reminds me. I'm invited to a "classy" Halloween party.
I have to plan my costume ahead of time. Any suggestions? I don't want to go as a cow, or a whore. Something in between that will highlight my outrageous loveliness but not look like I'm trying too hard. You know? Help me out. Note, just for the hell of it I've already purchased a four-foot rather luxurious blond wig. I might not use it.

4. True; and I am able to sew anything!
But what? Do I go as a gargoyle? The Moon? A cheese stick?

5. That is so beautiful.
I was a judge at the local New Years' masquerade ball this year. A few women were dressed in ball gowns and held very elaborate masks like the one you've posted. V. elegant.

I always build my costumes from what I find at resale shops. I like your idea. I'll think about using the mask somehow.

3. A slightly skanky goat?
I'm not sure quite what the mid-point is between a cow and a whore. :)

8. I did ask for that, didn't I?
I mean, I want to look attractive because the point of going to this party is to attract (this is why I've been invited, being newly single) but not to look to needy. The skanky goat... I'll put that on my list of possibilities... :eyes:

17. If only I had $400 I'd do the Cleopatra super-deluxe.
But I can also build it from stuff at the second-hand clothing store. Thanks!

As soon as I read about the wig I thought of Darryl Hannah in Splash.

10. What do you think about the tail?
Would I somehow make it built into my feet, or would I walk and drag it behind me?

7. Forget the blonde wig. Since you have that loveliness, just go as
a Gypsy woman. It's a cheap outfit, and will knock 'em dead.

You'll have to fight them off with a stick. Trust me.

14. It's might feel a little false being 43 and doing Supergirl.
Although I did get the most lustful, longing look from a sweet young man in the grocery store today! Sigh. Oh to be as young as I, apparently, look.
