I got a standing ovation today.
I'll spare you the details, but I was on the bus today on the way home, talking to my friends. I was making some rather witty comments (Well, witty to them and to myself) when some stupid little kid in the eighth grade was starting to get annoyed that I was getting more attention than him.

Stupid whiney kid: Shut up.

Me: Make me.

Stupid kid: You're too loud. Shut up. *He was just trying to be a brat and mess around with me.*

Me: Your mom.

Stupid kid: ? At least I'm more popular than you!

Me: Meanie-head!

Stupid kid: You're stupid and you're fat.

Me: That's what she said!

Stupid kid: What the f***

Me: Oh sorry. You're stupidity was infecting me for a moment. I must remove my self from your little bubble of ignorance so I can continue to go on my merry way home. I tried insulting you on an 8th grade level, but the logic processor of my brain could not function as it was overloaded with the stench of an ignoramus such as yourself. Good day. *Goes back to talking*

Stupid kid: *Speechless*

Busdriver: Teehee.

Stupid girl behind me: *Whispering* She just thinks she's so smart.

Me: Acutually *Turns around.* I think I am smart and you should just mind your own business. Didn't your mother, who obviously didn't teach you to dress or do your hair right, teach you that matters that don't involve yourself are other peoples business? You don't listen on conversations, or at least you shouldn't, and you certainly shouldn't comment. You don't read other peoples mail, do you? You don't listen in on their phone conversations, do you? Now just mind your own P's and Q's. I'm minding mine. I'm truly sorry that I'm getting more attention than you, but maybe if you came up with something other than 'Oh My God!' to squeal about, then maybe people would really want to talk to you. Bye. And please, leave yourself out of your life. I can show you the door, and it's that way. *Points behind her.*

Girl: ..... okay.

Busdriver: Teehee.

(Those two are real attention whores. They jump around and yell at people to get them to talk to them. It's really annoying. I got a standing ovation from the people around me)

1. Good for you!
Now burn their houses down.

No, of course, you shouldn't do that. It's the Clint Eastwood in me coming out.

But nicely done! You handled it all very well.

I'm quite proud of our little MiniMandaRuth! She's growing into a selfaware, confident, intelligent young woman.

Kudos!

3. Teehee.
*I'm just addicted to that word today*

I was going to go all out and bitch at them, but I'm proud of what I did.

4. Probably the first half.
It did kind of sound like a GD discussion, didn't it?

5. Probably better than my reaction in the same type of situation
As I recall, I ended up busting the girl behind me in the chops, chipping one of her teeth (in my defense, I was simply telling her to quit kicking me under the seat - she grabbed my arm that was on the back of the seat and said, "Oh, gonna hit me, huh? Go ahead, hit me! I dare ya! Hit me! Hit me! C'mon!"

So I did. O8)
