Finally found a place that sells 100% pomegranate juice
I was annoyed that the local supermarkets only carried pomegranate juice blends (pomegranate-cranberry, pomegranate-blueberry), because I wanted the real thing.

Unfortunately, a ~ 1 L bottle of R.W Knudsen 100% pomegranate juice retails for $7.95. I purchased a bottle, but as somebody mentioned on an earlier thread, 100% pomegranate juice is murder on the stomach; it's necessary to dilute the stuff.

1. Well, if it tastes better diluted, that's even better
because you're getting more mileage out of the bottle and saving money. I do the same with Knudson's black cherry juice --- it's too thick and syrupy tasting straight out of the bottle.

Is there a particular reason you wanted pomegranate juice healthwise or anything?

5. Normally, I'm not much into juices, but I found I like pomegranate

I did check it out because of all the health hoopla surrounding it (allegedly prevents all kinds of diseases), but I ended just liking to drink it.

4. Pomegranates are now the latest health-food craze
Supposedly, pomegranate juice can prevent heart disease, prostate cancer, etc. The thing is, up until its new popularity, pomegranates were always the fruit that got ignored at American supermarkets. I just like it because it tastes good. Maybe I'll finally invest in a juice machine...

7. Thanks, Karenca. On a related note:
There's a big tussle going on between POM and animal rights activists. POM wants the activists to be designated "domestic terrorists". Strange story I stumbled upon when searching the web for pomegranate juice.
