There's a chill in the air, I smell apple cider outside, and the leaves
are falling everywhere. Could my favorite season be here at last?

10. I dont' mind snow and my kids love it, but
the past few winters are just cold without much snow. It's just tiresome. Last winter we had hardly any snow and it wasn't all that cold (a lot of upper 30's low 40's)but almost everytime it would snow, it would melt within a day or so. I wanted to take my kids skiing for the first time over last Christmas break and it was in the 40's.

13. Did somebody say "cider"?
There's the dodgy stuff available in supermarkets - famed for getting teenagers drunk...but then there's the real stuff which is delicious.

All contemptible illusion, nothing more. Soon those same trees that now make such gaudy display will raise their stripped limbs against a dull leaden sky like damned souls making futile supplication to some callous and indifferent deity; whilst winds that cut like knives and shriek like banshees foreshadow worse, FAR worse, to come. So there.

18. It's 89 degrees today, the trees are always green...
and the drinks are still made from sugar cane, not apples. South Florida -- utterly seasonless.
