It starts with the Halloween candy, then theres a tiny lil' break in the middle of November then it's Thanksgiving, then it's a month and a half of Christmas food. Candy, cookies, eggnog. ACK! x(

Actually I'm sooo sympathetic to the weight gain around the holidays issue. I have to eat pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving and I have to eat chocolate chip cookies at Christmas or it just doesn't seem like the holidays.
So what I'm doing now is hitting the gym a little extra and eating more fruit. Not nearly as much fun as those wonderful yummy Take Five candy bars but I'll be happier in Jan when I can still fit into my jeans. :)

My dtr's 4th grade class is starting up with the cookie dough fundraiser tomorrow and I'm seriously worried. It's the major way they raise money for their big trip to Sacramento in the Spring, so all us parents feel compelled to buy lots and lots....plus, it doesn't help that the cookies are Otis Spunkmeyer gourmet cookies!!! OMG, they are soo good!!! Talk about addictive...yikes.
