Sure you know that the Cinci airport is actually in Kentucky.

Used to delight in telling people I would drive through 3 states to get from Hamilton, Ohio to the Cinci airport. Circle highway took us briefly through Indiana.

Hey! We had indoor pluming!

Actually, funny story. My niece is 10-years-old and lives in Nebraska. Last time I was there, she was going on and on about wanting to come to LA to visit because, she claimed, "I've never been out of Nebraska!"

I rolled my eyes and said, "Christina, we all went to Colorado last year. And your grandma (my stepdad's ex) lives in Ohio. You've visited her more than once."

To which she replied, "Oh yeah. I forgot about Colorado." Then she paused, rolled her eyes, and in her best I'm-trying-to-act-like-a-snotty-16-year-old voice said, "But, helloooo. Have you BEEN to Ohio? That totally doesn't count."

:P

83. I spent a great deal of time in Cincinnati...
Skyline Chili - at first I didn't really care for it, then the addiction started!
Montgomery Inn Ribs - again at first I thought they were too sweet, but they grow on you really fast.
Graeter's Ice Cream - for my wife's birthday, I usually Fed Ex in 6 pints for her. Amazing stuff.

101. Ballot Initiative: Rename "Ohio" to "Corruptabama"
For reasons I can't quite fathom, I've lived here my whole life, and to make matters worse, in a suburb of Dayton.

North Carolina is looking better and better... or even Florida (shudder).

Only in Ohio, if your parents passed on the unfortunate family name of Krap, do you not only not run to a courthouse and change it the day you turn 18, but you actually name your business KRAP TOWING and paint it on the side of your truck...

Elementary school in a Cincinnati suburb. Moved to Columbus in 1994 when Lelapin was in second grade. Columbus is rather beige and taupe, but it's a decent place to live and the surrounding countryside is beautiful.

After we do some housecleaning in November, it'll be even better. :)
