6. I like it too as a picture. I'm not usually embarassed by much but

one time my roommate in college took a picture of me in my briefs, which is odd and creepy in a different direction, but the part that bothered me was I was bent over to pull up my pants, and you could see my gut hanging over my waistband a bit. I would have rathered someone saw a picture of my butt naked.

7. It's funny, the things we're self-conscious of.

We'll zero in on something in a picture that makes us uncomfortable and it'll be something that a) no one else even notices or, b) people find endearing or even attractive.

We're mortified, though.

I've already posted the worst one that exists of me on here a few times. The one where I'm asleep curled up backwards in an airplane seat with no makeup and a pale face bc I was very ill that day, with hat head from the baseball cap I was wearing earlier and my face all mashed into the velour seat back. My mom took the pic because she thought it would be funny. It was. So I posted it here to make people laugh. Eh - it helps to keep my monstrous ego in check, too.

19. I have a pic like that of a girl I knew in college. I thought it was the

Whenever she saw it, she just about bit off my head and used my neck for an umbrella stand.

She was fully clothed and even wearing a coat.

Guys might dislike a pic, but for some reason, girls will absolutely freak.

26. Not to anyone who rides... or knows others who do.

I immediately noticed the pack on your machine (no, not that machine!) and think, "My kinda guy!"

Leathers, and he actually GOES somewhere when he rides... GOODONYAMATE.

Now I need to look for some of my biking pics ... there's surely an embarrassing one or two of me among those! Oh hell, I just remembered one without even seeing it... can't share THAT.

Too bad my most embarrassing moments aboard a bike weren't photographed. :rofl: Like the time I rode straight through a swarm of hornets or stinging flies or somethin', and I had on only a loosefitting top that I'd been having trouble keeping down in the wind anyway....

Yep, you guessed it, I had to just let the wind blow and keep up my speed to get rid of those buggers as fast as possible, slapping at them with one hand. Still got stung several times. Only time I ever did ride virtually topless!

Bull- or bronc-riders have the same problem with chaps -- they can look weird at first glance where the leggings stop at the torso. But then again, one of the coolest-lookin' guys I ever saw was riding a bus I was taking a long trip on, and I overheard him talking with his friend, saying something about a bullriding championship he'd won. He had on suitable travel clothes except for his dogger-heel boots (never can get those off of some riders) and his long, split-tailed black leather coat -- and an appropriate c'boy hat. Chaps on a bus ride would have been just too much, but that guy was drawing lingering looks from a LOT of ladies on his trip!

27. That's a hilarious story....

although I'm sure it didn't seem so at the time. The closest I had to that was riding back to Dallas from Big Bend country...it was near the end of an almost 600 mile day. As I was accelerating out of the last gas stop, a bee impacted right inside one of the fingers of my glove (I was wearing those "shorty" gloves). The bee was caught up in there and NOT happy - just stinging away. I kept taking my right hand off the throttle and beating on the finger trying to dispatch the bee....it took a lot of hits. The guys riding with me were laughing pretty hard when we were done - they were trying to figure out what in the world I was doing!

I never used chaps much until a stone hit me on the knee while doing about 75 some years ago. That literally brought tears to my eyes. The trip where the photo I posted was taken was in the Smokeys, where it was still getting a little chilly in the mornings/evenings, so I was glad I had them.

It would be fun to see some of your riding pics, if you run across any.
