Cali is formerly a military brat. His original owner was deployed to Iraq and had to give him to a shelter where I found him and rescued him.

He really is a very handsome boy so if you get a chance please give him your vote

He just turned 3 years old this month and he weighs almost 19 pounds and I'm told that ragdolls don't reach their full growth until at least 4 years old. :scared:

His father was a sleek 25lbs.

We also have a female rescue "Ragdoll" that's only 9.5lbs, but she has no papers and we think she's really a Birman.

when I found Cali but the little sign on his cage said "My dad was deployed to Iraq and was devastated to leave me" and if that wasn't enough he lay ed his giant cat head in my hand and looked up at me with those big blue eyes and I was a goner. I filled out the paper work to take him home right then.

That was the surprise I had waiting for me, yesterday, when I came back from the vet.
