I give up.
Seriously.

I give up. Let all the dumb, lazy, malicious people win. They have more energy.

I choose not to care. At least for today. :(

This world is built around the needs of the incompetent, the greedy, the selfish, and the dumb.

Why make a difference. Why try?

:(

1. I know how you feel
take it easy and let others worry about it for awhile. It's too hard some days, just too hard.

2. Will you please be more specific?
Or, are you unable to from the place you are writing from? If so, I understand. But, I'd like to hear the story...really.

4. Nearly 40 years of nobody wanting me to have peace and quiet.....
and a nice life. :(

I just lost it yesterday. Very long story, but something in me snapped. :(

More letters with incoherent babblings and I realized what kind of peaceful life could I ever have having such a confused, sick man for a bio father.
Living with bio dad's replacement growing up was crap.

I keep trying to have a nice life and nice surroundings and somebody is always trying to f#ck it up. At home, at work, wherever.....

I don't even relate to my friends....... :( I feel like I have certain standards yet the people around me or whom I associate with don't care.

I'm just tired, spiritually, and it's making me physically tired. :(

9. Hi Darth_Kitten
Your comment about such a confused, sick man for a bio father reminded me of a late-night radio talk show I heard, once, while driving cross country. In the radio program, the Psychiatrist/Host actually recommended the caller "divorce her parents"! I thought about it for many years...the way she said people should have the right to "divorce" abusive parents, the same way a spouse can divorce the other spouse. It made sense. I actually did this, mentally, with an abusive step-parent...and it worked for me. Now...I am in no way qualified to give professional advice, and I don't know your individual circumstances, but I thought I'd throw this idea out there. And, it is very different, I think, with a bio parent.

Anyway, I'm very sorry you are going through such a tough time. It does feel like we are just salmon swimming up-stream, sometimes, doesn't it?

I wish you could go to Maui for a vacation...it helped me immensely...but, I know vacations simply cost too much for most of us. We couldn't really afford everything we did, but I'm still glad we went.

Enough advice...it's late, and I'm sure both of us are tired.

Good night. Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day.
 :grouphug:

3. It'd be fun to become a multibillionaire and then help out.
Like Bill Gates, except help the country he made it big from rather than converting his wealth elsewhere then slamming us.

5. just wanted you to know the hair spray worked and the
ink came out of my new blouse. :)

I know it's not that big a deal to some, but having lost all of my clothing in the storm and having lived in hand me downs from strangers, the new blouse was one of my replacement garments, my slow and feeble attempt to replenish MY wardrobe.

Getting the ink on it was just a shitty accident in an already shitty day, so I really do appreciate the wisdom you shared with me. It worked and my blouse is like new again.

Just thought I would thank you and offer a hug  - I know what it like to be so tired of trying and tired of being tired.

Don't give up hope, but take the time to recharge as you need. :pals:

thank you again

6. I'm glad it worked!!
I was wondering if it worked for your blouse. :)

It's great that you were able to keep your blouse, I didn't know the significance of it.

I'm okay, I'm just in a bummed kind of mood. :(

12. It's okay to be bummed
just relax and remember to take the time to breath and recharge.

I call it an armadillo mood, where you just want to curl up in a ball and hope the world passes you by.

I'm having just such a mood, *sigh* eventually it will pass.

15. Armadillos in Texas commit "Suicide by Bumper."
For some odd reason, over the aeons it has become desirable from an evolutionary standpoint for armadillos to jump approximately two feet straight up when in a life or death challenge situation. This fact makes driving at night in Texas very interesting, as when you approach an armadillo crossing the freeway, you at 70 mph, him at 2 mph, his reaction is to jump straight up in just about PERFECT coordination to impact your bumper, OR take out your grille.

Interesting factoid.

16. thanks for the factoid
I generally don't play in the highway or on the interstates, so that part of the armadillo's behavior isn't a concern - I just like curling up in a ball until the danger passes.

8. I have learned in my many years,
that the only way to survive is to just let it all just blow over you. If you understand who you are and what you believe in, the jerks are just wind. I'm not explaining this well.

11. Remember, MEAN people are MISERABLE. Yes... they're the ones whose
lives are meaningless, trite and irrelevent, therefore, they hate themselves.

Therefore, their hate festers up so they can make you as miserable as they are.

They're so unhappy in their lives, they want YOU to be as unhappy as they are.

Mean people suck.
