It's what keeps me from feeling hope is lost.

How desperate for food did people have to be to decide to make that?

6. Haggis tastes pretty good, actually
It's a bit like eating a savory cous cous. I had some at a party in the spring (the mad scotsman actually smuggled it through customs. :wow: ) Though, that particular one was on the salty side.

when I took a trip to Scotland. It was really quite tasty.

We have haggis a couple of times per year. Its really quite good. It sounds nasty, but when cooked properly it has a great flavor and texture.

Haggis is perceived as bad in concept, but having eaten it many times (and will eat it in the future as well) I know that the silly myths about it are silly. If it looks nasty, that's because it's not packed in plastic...which I consider to be a good thing.

16. Oh is THAT what Paul Haggis ("Crash") looks like?
Overdone, puffed up, beloved by a select few who insist that he's just wonderful, while sane people find him indigestible? I should've known.

Having had haggis once before, I don't think I can stomach it again. :yoiks:

21. I tried some in Scotland
And liked it. Maybe it because I was pedalling the Highlands on my bike. When bike trekking, and food is your petrol, everything tastes good.
