It's about 10 years ago .. the chorus line was . Let freedom Ring!. About a chick who got away from a bad dude. Help?

the general gist of the lyrics is that he comes looking for her and finds the window open and she has flown free. The song was popluar about the same time as Indepence Day.
I am in a very peculiar mood tonight. Good one.
