3. It's good
I love stuff like this. Which means, I'm afraid, the show is doomed!

5. These kinds of shows have a sketchy track record too.
Here's hoping it catches on!

7. I really didn't need to get hooked on another show
Edited on Mon Sep-25-06 09:25 PM by KC2
I'm watching way too much TV lately. My husband is now hooked on that "Deal or No Deal" piece of crap, which will probably far out-live "Heroes." :eyes:

13. Ugh - Deal of No Deal.
Why not just have a show where people pick a piece of paper out of a drum to the wild cheers and breathless applause of the audience? It's almost as exciting as that.

9. I loved that show!

Very worldly! I think I like the Japanese kid the best.

I imagine this show might end up being somewhat controversial. I will not post why as to not spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet. You will know why when you see it.

10. I like the Japanese guy the best, too!
He's hilarious! Hey...anybody know if oiy is "great" in Japanese? I didn't know that...the other day, at work, I used the word oiy accidentally (as if it's a word) and a customer asked, "What did you say?" I weaseled out of it somehow!

12. I expected it to be very bad
Thought it was pretty good, for a premiere. I liked the ribs sticking out of the cheerleader, nice grisly touch. And the cliffhanger ending was very good too.

I always wanted to be able to teleport, that was always the best power, especially on long walks home.

14. I missed it - was the cop character on the show yet??
He is a regular on the show but had been cut from the premier - did they even reference his character.

20. The full episode is on NBC.com.
I just watched it, after reading this thread.

It's very interesting. And so far, most of the characters are very compelling. Especially the Japanese guy and the Mirror Mom.

17. Much better than expected.
I still think it's a longshot to stick. It's very comic booky, so it will have a pretty narrow fan base.

I really liked it though.

18. I watched it and liked it.
:) However, hubby kept saying what an awful show it was and kept rolling his eyes. (He does that.) Whenever a new show comes on and he's not familiar with the subject matter, that's what he does. He still hates LOST, and I still tell him to STFU when I'm watching it.
